In cooperation with GEMMS, the strategic advisor of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, AMAK is closely participating in Absheron Integrated Railway Project. Within the framework of this project, existing railway network in Baku city, towns and districts around Baku, as well as, in Absheron and Sumgait is being reconstructed. This system will be the foundation of passenger transportation of suburban areas in the near future in Absheron peninsula.

The goal of the strategic advisor is to integrate the railway network of Absheron and its stations with other public and private vehicle transport. Additionally, one of the main goals is to make railway stations accessible for pedestrians and provide pedestrian and road relation in residential areas located near the railway. Within the project framework, a number of transportation hubs in Absheron will be established, which in return will positively affect the mobility of people.
