The National Automobile Club of Azerbaijan as part of its EU funded Eastern Partnership Civil Society Facility Project had recently conducted a social experiment in Baku aimed at assessing general public's knowledge and attitude towards people with disabilities and their needs. The young actor helped AMAK during the experience, playing role of the person with disability.  Scenes were played, where a person in a wheelchair tried to descend the metro, but the high stairs were a huge barrier. During the interviews, all respondents who saw such scenes agreed with the strong need in an accessible infrastructure. Overall, the experiment had highlighted the importance presence of social appreciation for people with disabilities to consider themselves as equal members of the society.
